Soup! Udon (우동) with Oden (오뎅), speedy and healthy
Hi everyone,
I was very hungry today and didn't have the patience to prepare a huge meal. So I went for a speedy soup version, but I wanted to make it healthy still. Here is the result:
Dosirak No. 9

Hi Dosirak-Lovers,
Here today's Dosirak:
There are purple carrot flowers on a bed of beans, flavored with 고추장 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gochujang). This was a really speedy one, for I didn't have much time yesterday evening (for both Dosiraks, it took me 15 minutes tops). There is also some surimi, tomatoes, kohlrabi and blueberries. And, of course, some rice with 깨소금, that's roasted sesame, crushed.
Hope you liked that speedy one!

How to ... Baby meatballs, heart-shaped Kimbap and carrot-flowers (Dosirak No. 5)
Hi 도시락lovers,
here another Dosirak:
This one has heart-shaped Kimbaps made of wild rice, filled with sesame leaves and carrots, carrot-flowers, salmon-wasabi-rolls, baby meatballs filled with baby peas, a tomato, Korean style spinach and raspberries for dessert.
This one has heart-shaped Kimbaps, flower-carrots, baby-meatballs also filled with baby-peas, kohlrabi (under the carrots) and raspberries, grapes and strawberries for dessert.
So how do you make heart-shaped Kimbap? It's pretty easy, but first you should get a little helper like this:
How to ... egg-rolls, and Dosirak No. 3
Hi 도시락lovers,
so here a 도시락 with the Korean pancakes leftovers.
I also added some egg-rolls with a seaweed sheet ( Korean Kim or Japanese Nori is fine). So how to make them? Pretty easy: You squirl two eggs with some salt and pepper. You put them in a pan and the Kim on top, like this:

Hi 도시락lovers,
here is another 도시락 set, with leftovers from preparing the other one (see post below). This is a great way to speed things up (which means one box in less then 10 minutes) and still have a pretty and yummy lunch.
Enjoy!
(Leftover Kimbaps and leftover avocado, leftover salmon with flower-carrots and cauliflower and leftover cherries.)

New Blog! (Dosirak No. 1)
Hi everyone,
so this is my first blog and first post, like, ever!!! <(^.^)>
So here my two 도시락 boxes from yesterday.

My box (I really <3 the 토끼s! For those who wondered: My box can contain 600 ml max) is filled with surimi-avocado-spinach-Kimbaps and smoked salmon with wasabi on the side. The spinach was seasoned Korean style (see http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/sigumchi-namul for instructions). And lots of fruits for a sweet treat!
My partner (who doesn't have a cute box yet, but it's ordered and coming soon, yeay!) gets some rice with peas, seasoned with sesame oil and soy sauce. This pasture is decorated with steamed carrot-flowers. And there's some smoked salmon, fixed with canned sesame leaves (for some fun pictures of Steve Jobs presenting the "canned sesame leaves 4G" see http://goldenears.net/board/CT_Gossip/513331) and raw kohlrabi with salt and pepper.
For I prepared the seasoned spinach beforehand and took the rice right out of my rice cooker, both boxes took me about 30 minutes (it took some time to do the carrots - for a nice video with even cuter ones, see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdIyyKiWsqI).
Hope you like this post!
